Now our way lies to the capital of Baikal - the beautiful city of Irkutsk .
Irkutsk is an ancient city in Russia, located in the east of Siberia, in the picturesque valley of the Angara River. It is the administrative center of the Irkutsk region and the district of the same name, one of the most developed cities in the economic, cultural and scientific spheres of the East Siberian region.

During the flight to this city on the starboard side, you and your passengers can observe such large settlements as Abakan, Bratsk, and many other small settlements in good weather.
Irkutsk was founded at the confluence of the Irkut and Angara rivers on the site of a wooden fortress‑ostrog, founded on July 6 in 1661 by Cossacks under the command of the boyar's son Yakov Pokhabov.
