This Thursday, April 16, 2026, the Samara FIR of the VATRUS Division invites you to the "Samara Online Evening". We look forward to seeing you in Kurumoch Airport (UWWW), where full air traffic control services will be provided from 17:00 to 20:00 UTC.

Samara is a major economic, transport, scientific, educational, and cultural hub, the center of the Volga region and the Samara region, a city of labor and military glory, a city of valor. All Soviet and Russian cosmonauts launched into space on R-7 launch vehicles manufactured by the Kuibyshev (now Samara) company TsSKB-Progress, where a regular visitor was Sergei Pavlovich Korolev, the founder of practical cosmonautics, after whom Samara Kurumoch Airport is named.

Other airports in the Samara FIR will operate under the Samara Control position; lower positions will be connected when possible.
