Cosmonautics Day – wide-known and important day for all aviation enthusiasts! On April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin became the first person in history to fly into outer space, forever changing the world of science and technology.

We invite you to celebrate this momentous occasion with us and fly on Sunday, April 12, to the one of the two airports named after the first man in space – Saratov Gagarin Airport or to Orenburg Gagarin Airport. Samara Regional Center controllers will provide ATC services from 16:00 to 19:00 UTC.

As always, we recommend bringing additional fuel (preferably at least 1-2 tons) and be prepared for delays on departure and arrival (including holding areas) due to restrictions on takeoff and landing operations at a specific airfield.
