This Thursday, January 29, 2026, the Samara FIR of the VATRUS Division invites you to the "Online Evening in Kazan" event. We look forward to welcoming you to Kazan Airport (UWKD), where full ATC services will be provided from 17:00 to 20:00 UTC.

Kazan is one of the largest economic, scientific, educational, religious, leisure, cultural, financial, and sports centers in Russia, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the most populous city in the Volga Federal District. Kazan is the hometown of the Tatar folk poet, literary critic, publicist, public figure, and translator Gabdulla Tukay, after whom Kazan Airport is named.

Other airports in the Samara FIR will operate under the Samara Control position; lower positions will be connected when possible.
