The Novosibirsk Air Control Center (Novosibirsk ACC) takes place in the organizational and territorial structure of the VATRUS division, part of VATSIM international network and defines as an operational body of the unified air traffic control system of the VATRUS division. The Novosibirsk ACC carries out activities in the air district on a territory of 6 subjects in the Russian Federation with a total area of 1 million square kilometers.

The area of responsibility of the Novosibirsk ACC extends over the Republic of Altai, the Altai Territory, the Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Omsk and Tomsk regions. The respective air region shares borders with Mongolia, Kazakhstan and People's Republic of China ATC authorities. The airways, passing through the Novosibirsk ACC connect West Europe with South-East Asia and North America with South-Asian regions. The total length of airways counts up to 40 thousand kilometres, including more than 130 in international area with ten air corridors on the border of neighboring states (Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia).
