Air traffic control in the airspace of the Republic of Belarus is provided by the Minsk Area and Aerodrome Control Centre, as well as by air traffic control services at airports, in close cooperation with neighbouring control centres and other traffic management units. Thanks to coordinated actions, aircraft flights are carried out along the shortest distances, at economical altitudes and flight modes. Air traffic control is carried out over an area of 207.6 square kilometres, and the length of air routes is 25,000 kilometres.
In the airspace of the Republic of Belarus, a unified transition altitude - 6,000 ft (1,850 m) is established for civil airports, determined by Question Nautical Height.
Transition Level is set:
TL80 (2450 m) - at a minimum QNH pressure in the territory of the Republic of Belarus of up to 977.2 hPa;
TL90 (2750 m) - at a minimum QNH pressure in the territory of the Republic of Belarus of up to 977.1 hPa and below.
