Tolmachevo International Airport (Novosibirsk), named after A.I. Pokryshkin, is one of the most rapidly developing federal-level airports and the largest transit hub beyond the Urals on key routes connecting Europe and Asia. The geographical location of Novosibirsk Airport enables it to serve promising cross-polar routes linking North America and Asia.

Tolmachevo Airport is located 17 km west of Novosibirsk city center—the administrative hub of Novosibirsk Oblast and the Siberian Federal District. The region surrounding the airport boasts a strong economic profile and the highest population density in Russia’s Asian part, with approximately 10 million people living within a 500 km radius of Tolmachevo. Notably, demand for air travel in Siberia is growing twice as fast as the national average.

Aircraft with a wingspan of 48 meters or greater are prohibited through taxiing between taxiway B and taxiway C.

Aircraft with a wingspan of 42 meters or more are prohibited from holding bay 2, and it is also prohibited from taxiing aircraft with a wingspan of 42 meters or more along taxiway E if there are aircraft at holding bay 2.
