Description

Shushenskoye Airport (Kazantsevo) is a regional airport located in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory near the village of Kazantsevo, eleven kilometers from the district center of Shushenskoye.

Accepted types of aircraft

AN-12, AN-24, AN-26, AN-28, AN-32, AN-74, Yak-40, L-410 and lighter, helicopter all types.

History

The main purpose of the airport in Soviet times was to serve tourists arriving at the museum-reserve of Lenin. Thanks to this, a large terminal was built at the airport, which has been well preserved to this day.

It was decided to resume passenger service from the twentieth of May 2016 — to operate Krasnoyarsk - Shushenskoye - Krasnoyarsk flights twice a week.

In order to further develop tourism, it is planned to lengthen and expand the runway in the next two years to accept international-class aircraft.
