Description

1. Ust-Ilimsk airport received the first flight Irkutsk - Ust-Ilimsk in February 1980. It is located 22 km north-west of the city of Ust-Ilimsk, Irkutsk Region. In 2001 it ceased to exist and was excluded from the Register of Civil Aerodromes of the Russian Federation. In August 2013 it received the status of an airfield site; the runway was reduced to one thousand meters, at the same time flights to Irkutsk were resumed. All capital buildings and structures during the period of the airport's inactivity were sold to pay off the debts of the airline or dismantled illegally. At present, Ilim Group has built an airport terminal building and a fueling station, the commissioning of which allows flights to Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk without additional refueling in Bratsk.

The airport had an air terminal (450 passengers/hour) equipped with two telescopic gangways, now destroyed.
